Mark your calendars for a celestial celebration like no other! The Shawnee Cave Total Solar Eclipse Festival is set to dazzle attendees from April 5-8, 2024, at the Shawnee Cave Amphitheater, with a special VIP Pre Party kicking off the festivities on April 4, 2024. Nestled at 3747 Illinois 127, Murphysboro, IL 62966, our venue sits in the direct Path of Totality, offering an unparalleled viewing experience of the 2024 Total Solar Eclipse in the heart of southern Illinois.

This all-ages festival is more than just a music event; it’s a comprehensive celebration of nature, art, and community under the awe-inspiring backdrop of a total solar eclipse. Children under 15 gain free entry with any paid adult pass, making it a perfect family getaway.

Gates open at 3 PM on Thursday, April 4, and close at 3 PM on Tuesday, April 9, 2024. This extended schedule ensures guests can fully immerse themselves in the festival’s offerings, from the live music acts to the serene beauty of the surrounding nature.
